The Embassy of Portugal in China

Leveraging the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Portugal and China in 2019, the Embassy of Portugal in China has been actively promoting the economic and cultural co-operation between the two countries since 2018. Paradigm has provided media relations services to publicize the following initiatives of the Embassy:

A “Wine Tasting Night” that featured Real Companhia Velha and José Maria da Fonseca, two of the most celebrated and historic wineries of the Portuguese wine industry.
A special “Beer Pairing Night” that featured Super Bock, the world’s best-selling Portuguese beer with a heritage of 90 years.
The inaugural concert of the year-long Portuguese Cultural Festival in the Palace Museum. The event featured a cultural dialogue between renowned Portuguese guitarist Pedro Jóia and upcoming huqin (erhu) virtuoso Duan Chao from China.
The concert for celebrating the National Day of Portugal in Beijing Concert Hall. The high-profile event featured Portuguese conductor Ms Joana Carneiro, Portuguese soprano Ms Elisabete Matos and the China National Symphony Orchestra in Beijing in the National Day of Portugal.
